According to this, Mária Vojnik was born on May 26, 1951 in Mátészalka, in 1969 she graduated from Ferenc Kölcsey vocational primary and secondary school in Nyíregyháza. In the 1980s he participated in the reformist circle movement, in October 1989 he was a founding member of the MSZP, and from 1990 to 1992 he was a board member of the Nyíregyháza organization. From 1992 to 1998, he was a member of the party’s national board. On September 4, 2004, he was elected county party vice chairman.
He ran as a candidate in the 1990 and 1994 parliamentary elections. He was included in the Nyíregyháza general assembly in the 1994 municipal elections. He obtained a seat in Nyíregyháza in the 1998 parliamentary elections. From September 1999 to December 2000, he was the deputy leader of the MSZP faction. In 2002 he defended his individual mandate in Nyíregyháza.
Between 2003 and 2006 he was Secretary of Political State of the Ministry of Health, Social Affairs and Family, then President of the Parliament’s Health Commission, and in 2008-2010. He was Secretary of State for Health.
1998-2010. He was a Member of Parliament for three terms and worked actively for his field of expertise, health care and his narrowest land, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County and Nyíregyháza.
