The head of the Chinese brothel operated in Budapest was sentenced to twelve years in prison under the Metropolitan Law. Two of his accomplices received suspended prison terms. The store manager recruited women from China five years ago to work for her as a prostitute. He organized the trip of the women who owed him accounts and also gave him part of their earnings.

This money was used by the defendant in part to cover the operating costs of the brothel and in part for his own purposes. One of his companions, as a real estate agent, helped in the rental of the property where the prostitution took place, as well as in the interpretation between the other two defendants. Another colleague helped post sexual advertisements and received calls from interested clients and helped them organize meetings.

Between April and August 2016, the brothel operator regularly acquired drugs, some of which he used or offered for use to others. The court sentenced him to 12 years in prison for facilitating prostitution while running a brothel and dealing a significant amount of drugs on the grounds that he could not be paroled. He was also deported from Hungary forever.

His court found two of his accomplices guilty of aiding and inciting prostitution as a criminal helper. One of them ended probation in a previous criminal case and sentenced him to 1 year and 10 months, suspended for 2 years, as a collective sentence, while the other received 1 year of suspension.

When imposing the sentence, the court took into account as a mitigating circumstance the passage of time, the partial confession of the brothel operator, his criminal record and confession with one of his companions, and the support of a minor. However, an aggravating circumstance was the criminal record of two defendants, as well as the fact that the brothel operator also committed the act as a special repeat offender. Until the second instance process, the brothel operator remains in detention. The judgment is not final.
