The government will help the Hungarian Tennis Association with 2.5 billion

According to Magyar Közlöny on Sunday, government decision 1561/2020 stipulates that for the Hungarian Tennis Association to function,

  • the government agrees with the stabilization (consolidation) of the operational conditions of the Hungarian Tennis Association and the support of the professional programs and developments that it must implement,
  • therefore, it orders a one-time transfer of 2,501,250,000 HUF with the obligation to liquidate and reimburse the unused part of Article XXII of this year’s budget. From the Chapter of the Prime Minister’s Office,
  • the Minister of Finance will be responsible for the transfer with immediate effect and the Minister responsible for the liquidation and the obligation to reimburse until December 31, 2021,
  • The resolution calls on the Minister who heads the Prime Minister’s Office to issue a certificate of support to the Hungarian Tennis Association up to a maximum of HUF 2.5 billion.
