This was told to the public media on Saturday by the head of the emergency center of the operational strain responsible for controlling the coronavirus epidemic.
Tibor Lakatos said that in addition to preventing the spread of the epidemic in Hungary, it should also be borne in mind that the country cannot stop, as the second wave lasts much longer than the first spring wave.

Lakatos pointed out that starting Monday, the use of a protective mask will also be mandatory at public events, music, dance and in catering establishments when the guests are not eating or drinking anything.
Stores can now be inspected by the police, not just the commercial authority, and even the police can sanction stores that do not comply with security measures; the penalty can range from a warning to a fine of one million guilders, and they can even close the deal.
He also said that so far, 43 percent of the sanctions imposed for non-compliance with epidemiological regulations have been warnings, “but that time is over because the number of new infections has increased considerably.”
