In the interview, Balázs Fürjes said that he had personally apologized to Gábor Kubatov, the president of Ferencváros, because the Puskás Arena apparatus had not been at the peak of the situation for a day, so misleading information appeared about whether the Hungarian champion could play in the Puskás Arena. According to the secretary of state, the situation was clarified with the president of the FTC on Friday, as well as with the CEO of UEFA and Sándor Csányi, president of MLSZ, so that the situation could be resolved.

“The Puskás Arena awaits Fradi with the doors open. Our suggestion for the best and most popular Hungarian team, Ferencváros, is to play BL matches against Juventus and Barcelona in the national arena. Thus, three times as many Hungarians can support Fradi on the ground compared to Groupama. That way, most people can be in the stadium. There is no obstacle to this, UEFA has to agree to Fradi at his request. I am confident that this will happen with the support of the MLSZ, especially with the help of President Sándor Csányi, who is UEFA Vice President ”. He told the Index Balázs Fürjes.

As is known, the European Football Association (UEFA) announced last Thursday that the stadiums could reopen their doors. Up to 30 percent of the facility’s capacity is expected to be able to sell tickets in the future, however, visiting fans will still not be able to attend games. This means that Ferencváros can enter in front of approximately 7,000 spectators at the Groupama Arena and approximately 20,000 spectators at the Puskás Arena.
