The forint weakened against major currencies on the international interbank exchange market on Tuesday.

The exchange rate of the Swiss franc rose from HUF 332.03 in the morning to HUF 334.51 at night.

The forint strengthened slightly on Tuesday afternoon, after the central bank left key interest rates unchanged and raised them to Nhp Hajra! but then it weakened to previous levels.

Most Central European currencies weakened on Tuesday as investors were concerned about a Polish and Hungarian veto on the EU budget and a sharp increase in the number of Americans infected with the new corona virus.

The euro was trading at $ 1.1867 at 7 p.m. Tuesday, 0.11 percent higher than the close of the previous day. During daily trading, the exchange rate fluctuated in the range of $ 1.1844 to $ 1.1894.
