The forint strengthened against major currencies on the international interbank exchange market on Wednesday, MTI writes.
The euro was rotating at 356.81 guilders at seven in the afternoon, the exchange rate of the common European currency decreased by 2 guilders 3 guilders against 358.84 guilders in the morning. In daily trading, the euro trades in the range of 355.23 HUF to 359.17 HUF.
The dollar had to be delivered 295.59 HUF at seven in the morning and 295.57 HUF in the afternoon.
The exchange rate of the Swiss franc went from HUF 332.98 in the morning to HUF 331.94 at night.
The euro was trading at $ 1.12068 on Wednesday night, weakening 0.27 percent from the close of the previous day. During daily trading, the exchange rate fluctuated in the range of $ 1.2059 to $ 1.2147.
The European common currency weakened 0.07 percent against the Swiss franc, at 1.0750 francs.
0.8909 francs were given for one dollar, the US currency strengthened by 0.21 percent. The dollar was up 0.18 percent against the yen, 104.34 yen on Wednesday night.
