The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said it suspected they wanted to sell to Russian intelligence the laptop of Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the U.S. Democratic House of Representatives, which had been stolen during a Capitol siege by a young participant in the riots.
In its indictment, the FBI initiated the arrest of Riley June Williams, 22, of Pennsylvania, for rioting and violent intrusion into the United States Legislature building, but robbery is not among the charges.
