2,046 new coronavirus infections were recorded in the Czech Republic on Saturday, breaking the record for cases on weekends. In the country of ten million, the number of active infections is almost 24,000, of which 516 are treated in hospitals.

In the Czech Republic, the number of infections has accelerated since the beginning of September.
