More than 60 patients suffer from serious illnesses. These numbers are also constantly growing. The death toll rose to 450. From March 1, when the first infected person was registered in the Czech Republic, until Friday A total of 33,860 coronavirus infections were detected through laboratory tests, and about two-thirds of those affected had already recovered. On Friday, the Czech Ministry of Health revised the so-called traffic light system, in which the epidemic situation in each region is marked with colors. The red region representing the most serious situation is not on the map. However, there are already six from the orange region, which is one degree lower than the red one, indicating a community spread of the epidemic, rather than the previous one (Prague), mainly the districts around the capital and Uherské Hradiste in South Moravia. The lowest color, indicating a lower risk, has been assigned to 40 districts instead of the previous ten, covering more than half of the country. Therefore, the number of blank drives that indicate problems is decreasing. Starting Thursday, protective masks must be worn in locked rooms across the country. Until now, masks were only mandatory in public transport, sanitary facilities and offices.

In the orange regions, nightclubs and bars should be closed at midnight.
