The Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria receive hundreds to hundreds of thousands of doses of the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine from other EU countries. This was also confirmed this afternoon by Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis on Twitter, who will receive 100,000 doses thanks to the solidarity of the European Union and thanked the European Commission and other Member States for their help:

EU member states decided to move on Wednesday and the vaccines will be shipped to all three countries next week. According to IHNED.cz, the support of the three states was made possible because Pfizer was able to increase and accelerate the production of vaccines.

The Czech Republic has ordered around three million Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines under the common EU procedure. Additionally, Moderna and AstraZeneca are vaccinated in the Czech Republic. The Czechs do not use vaccines that are not approved in the European Union.

To date, more than 700,000 people in the Czech Republic have been vaccinated with coronavirus vaccines. According to Health Minister Jan Blatny, there are currently about 25,000 people vaccinated in the Czech Republic every day, which I would like to increase to at least 30,000 a day in the coming weeks.
