The tragic accident at the Mirage Hotel and Casino Complex ended one of the most successful shows in Las Vegas: Roy and Siegfried have performed more than 5,000 performances there in the past 13 years of their careers.

After the accident, Roy Horn learned to walk again, but he could only walk carefully and with a stick, sitting in a wheelchair in his rare public appearances.

His partner, Fischbacher, 80, said Roy was “a tough warrior all his life, even in his last days, when he heroically fought the insidious virus.” Royjal has lost one of the best magicians in the world, said Fischbacher, who said he knew from the first moment that they would change the world together.
