There is another victim of the coronavirus epidemic in Pesti út, so a total of 44 people have already died in the nursing home.
On Koronavirus.gov.hu’s Facebook page, it was also announced Tuesday that 345 nursing homes had already been inspected and more than one required official action. They added that each deceased fourth infected with coronavirus was a resident of a nursing home.
A government website said Monday that the number of deaths from coronavirus in a nursing home has increased to hundreds. Until now, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 32 nursing homes in the country, in 12 institutions in Budapest and 20 in rural areas. The most infected institution is the Pesti út nursing home, they added.
