Due to the looming cold front, most of the country will have to prepare for Thursday’s thunderstorms, but in some places it can even be hot as 30 degrees Celsius.
According to the danger signal sent to the MTI by the National Meteorological Service on Wednesday, with the exception of the counties of Csongrád-Csanád, Békés, Hajdú-Bihar and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, a first-level alert was issued for the entire country by thunderstorms.
It was written that from Thursday afternoon, (non-violent) thunderstorms could occur near the western border and in some places in the northeast. In the evening, at night, more storms may form in some places in the central part of the country, and then the rain in the country ceases at night. Thunderstorms can be accompanied by high winds, heavy rain, and possibly small grain ice in some places.
It is forecast to be 13-18 degrees during the cooler hours on Thursdays, but it will be slightly cooler in the northern valleys and milder in the larger cities. During the day, the air heats up to 25-31 degrees, but it can be a bit cooler in Sopron too.
