Between December 19 and 23, the Capital will test volunteer citizens of Budapest in four locations with 5,000 rapid antigen tests, for which the application was launched in the early afternoon.
The mayor’s office said interest was huge, with seats filled in one afternoon. It also shows how much demand and need for comprehensive tests nationwide, which the Capital does not have, but which the government would have, they said.
“Although testing is not the job of the capital, we will do everything possible to slow the spread of the epidemic,” tomorrow we will examine how we can increase testing capacity to provide as many free residents as possible in Budapest, they write.
