The son of a star chef who requested anonymity was attacked a few weeks ago.

According to Blikk, the boy walked to Széll Kálmán tér to meet his friends. The unknown teenagers first just insulted him and then started hitting. He had no major problems because he could practically defend himself, an unknown passerby quickly called the police.

The youths fled, but one of them was arrested, he was captured by the police. The star chef has filed a complaint with the police, but does not want to be in public to protect his son. Investigators are investigating the case and the newspaper knows they are also analyzing surveillance camera footage.

At Blikk’s request, the Budapest police headquarters said that “proceedings had been initiated on suspicion of a crime of mass riot, one person was questioned as a suspect.”

According to the newspaper, a group of young people have recently carried out several similar attacks in and around Széll Kálmán Square. Last summer, two high school boys in Széll Kálmán square were attacked by a gang of three. One of them was seriously injured, his partner was more easily injured. Police identified the gang. No proceedings have been initiated against the youngest, the other two defend themselves freely.
