Telenor gives away 100 GB of free internet to some of its customers

Although Telenor services are not covered by the government decree providing free Internet access, the service provider has made access to educational sites on its network free. Telenor now offers another discount in the epidemic situation: it provides 100 GB of free and free-to-use data traffic in Hungary to our residential customers using the rates of Hipernet Home +, Hipernet Home, Hipernet and MyHipernet Home, rate families of Digital Welfare 2GB.

Telenor joins the initiative on a voluntary basis: it provides 100 GB of free data traffic one-time for 30 days for 30 days, even without a school certificate, to large-screen residential mobile Internet users (mobile, tablet), lo that supports learning and working from home.

Residential customers can also activate the free, one-time 100GB data ticket through the MyTelenor online self-service interface, the MyTelenor app, 1220 phone customer service, and Telenor stores, but in the case of a virus, contactless channels are recommended, mainly online.

In consultation with the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, Telenor has made leading education-related websites available to all its subscribers for free on its network since November 27. Now, in addition to the previous plans, Telenor wants to help those for whom Hipernet is already their main Internet access at home and are temporarily generating higher data traffic due to restrictions, school closings or working from home. The offer is available from December 1 to December 31.
