Coronavirus: the second wave

Half a year after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the spring, the second wave of the pandemic has arrived. The radical increase in the number of infected is forcing more and more countries to re-impose restrictions, despite the fact that the world economy has not even recovered from the effects of the spring outbreak. According to the posters, the second wave also reached Hungary. Follow our news!

Within a few weeks, the presence of antibodies in the body of most people who have recovered from a coronavirus infection will decrease dramatically, according to a study of plasma donors in Israel.

The MDA emergency care center released its details on Wednesday. Among those cured, there were also those who gave blood plasma four times, and 90 percent of them clearly had a gradual decrease in antibody levels. Additionally, blood tests show that 17 percent of those who recovered from the disease did not produce antibodies at all.

In Israel, by the way, only a very small percentage of those recovered were willing to donate plasma to save the lives of other patients, and only 1,300 of the roughly 100,000 became donors.

The number of independent power editorial boards is steadily decreasing, and those that still exist are trying to stay afloat in a growing headwind.
