The Paul Ehrlich Institute, the body that approves vaccines, has recommended that AstraZeneca’s coronavirus vaccine be discontinued because those vaccinated are more likely than normal to develop stroke.

The institute’s director, Klaus Cichutek, said in an interview that last weekend they received more reports that a “striking, partly fatal” phenomenon was observed in those vaccinated with this vaccine.

A total of six women aged 20 to 50 who were vaccinated with the vaccine were diagnosed with a so-called sinus thrombosis.

Two of them died.

Also, a man was diagnosed with brain hemorrhage and thrombosis.

According to the institute, comparing the previous data with the fact that so far 1.5 million vaccines have been administered, it can be stated that

that those vaccinated are more likely to develop this blood clot than those who are not vaccinated.

According to the head of the institute, the observation was also discussed with the experts, who also concluded that

responsibility for the vaccine cannot be ruled out.

However, he emphasized that on this basis, it is not yet possible to clearly state that vaccinations have been associated with the development of thrombotic events. More research will be done to determine this, he said.
