Due to a fire in December, there has been no heat or electricity in a two-story condo in the fourth district for three weeks, the district news portal reported.
The fire was caused by an elderly woman with psychiatric problems while smoking a cigarette, whom her son allegedly left alone despite her serious financial and mental problems. The outgoing fire department and then the gas plants also detected an unavoidable gas leak, so the gas was shut off throughout the condo. For technical reasons, the power supply has now been cut off.
The old woman was taken to psychiatry and the condominium that accumulated its debt was left with a gas pipeline and electricity in ruins in the middle of the viral situation before the holidays.
In addition, an additional problem is that those who may have a way to move to another location may be limited by the virus situation, as there is a possibility that they will not be able to adapt due to current restrictions.
Residents cannot heat, bathe in hot water, cook, light, but can no longer charge a phone or call an ambulance if someone needs it, the district newspaper cites a reading report sent to the editorial office.
The gas supplier is said to be helpless due to the technical condition of the pipes, the electricity supplier is constantly troubleshooting problems, but also cannot report on encouraging developments.
The condominium asked the district government and the police for a response to the crisis.
