The vast majority of Hungarians have been vaccinated with Russian vaccines since childhood, as “all of our vaccines came from there,” the Foreign and Commonwealth Minister wrote of his community on Tuesday.

Péter Szijjártó According to the opinion, the vaccination of Hungary against various infectious diseases, which is also prominent internationally, is largely due to Russian vaccines.

The minister stated that it is the government’s job to ensure that, if a safe vaccine is developed anywhere in the world, it will be available to the Hungarian people as soon as possible. To this end, it was agreed with the Russian Minister of Health that Hungarian doctors and epidemiologists could study the development and manufacturing process of the Russian vaccine on the spot. After visiting the Russian laboratories, the delegation members reported on state-of-the-art technology and the highest level of professional competence, said Péter Szijjártó.

The minister described as extremely irresponsible that “left politicians question the professional position of Hungarian doctors and epidemiologists, want to ask a political question on the issue of vaccines manufactured in Russia”, which according to him is not inferior to Western versions.
