Upor responded to them in a lengthy letter on Tuesday, the essence of which is that there is no legislation in force that would deprive the university director of the right that is otherwise clearly outlined in the National Law on Higher Education and the legal requirements of his current SZMR. ,
in other words, the Rector and the persons who perform the functions of the Rector have the right to determine the order of the school year, including the beginning of the school year.
It was also mentioned that the president of the SZFE HÖK, Mihály Csernai He also received an invitation to the event organized by the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference and the HÖOK, in the framework of which the students would sit down to coordinate with the new maintainer of the university and its chairman of the board of directors, With Attila Vidnyánszky.
In his reply to this, which is still published today, Csernai states that
Based on the student forum vote on Tuesday, Vidnyánszky and the board of directors are illegitimate for students, they were appointed by anti-democratic means, so we do not want to discuss them, as there is nothing about it.
He added that as there is still no indication that his points announced last week will be accepted, his participation in the event would be unjustified and incompatible in terms of his points and objectives.
