Armand Duplantis has won all 15 races this year.

Armand Duplantis improved the men’s world outdoor pole vault record to 6.15 meters on Thursday at the Diamond League in Rome.

The Swedish athlete took the sensational height to a second attempt, leaving behind the 6.14 meter record set in 1994 by the legendary Ukrainian Serhiy Bubka.

Duplantis, 20, set the world record for 6.18 meters indoors in February and then showed the second best outdoor jump of all time in Lausanne in early September with 6.07 meters.

“Mondo” of an American father and a Swedish mother won all 15 races this year.

The international federation has not distinguished between indoor and outdoor world records since 2000, it has a record, so the current result is officially the best outdoor performance.
