The government decree was issued, which was issued today after the meeting of the Council of Elders – Viktor Orbán reported in the news on Facebook.

It is intended to allow older people to shop at a sheltered bar from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays, so that only they can be in the store during this period, the prime minister said. The same is true between 8 and 10 a.m. on weekends, he said.

For the sake of accuracy, Orbán explained that seniors can shop at any time, but only they can stay in stores in the time zones mentioned above.

The most vulnerable age group is still the age group of our parents, our grandparents, the Prime Minister said, adding that they must be protected first and foremost.

It is not yet known when the store shopping time zone should apply, or exactly which stores and businesses will apply to it (in the spring, the regulation covered grocery stores, drugstores, markets, pharmacies) and exactly what age is older (in spring the age limit was 65 years). We will probably be smarter after today’s newsletter.
