How much a little difference matters.

The British Mirror writes about the case of a leisurely man who looked at the price of the menu he had chosen when ordering and then, as it were, was very surprised when he received the bill at the end of the meal. The guest ordered a premium A5 Japanese wagyu, which is one of the most expensive meats. The funny and at the same time sad incident took place in the center of American casinos in Atlantic City.

The man went to dinner with his girlfriend, they also reserved a table, they dressed very well for the event.

The guest, whose name would not be made public for obvious reasons, would have originally ordered a wagyu, but then saw the menu marked A5 on the menu and thought he would give the offer a try. The man was also surprised that 11.34 decagrams of the world’s most expensive meat cost just US $ 26 (10,000 guilders), so he quickly ordered.

The invoice finally revealed that the price of 26 pounds did not refer to 11.34 deca, but to its approx. only a quarter, so the capture cost at least four times more than he thought.

Thus, the steak cost 312 pounds, that is, more than 125 thousand florins. Incidentally, the man’s girlfriend ate Ramsay’s famous Wellington dish, and for the entire dinner, along with drinks, snacks and tips, they paid about 215 thousand florins.

The guest said that he was very surprised, but generally did not regret the orders because he says that he had never eaten so well before.
