The coronavirus epidemic already has several dead and seriously ill patients among law enforcement officials, Népszava writes.
Two members of the police force, a military civilian, a member of disaster management and a prisoner, and two detainees lost their lives in the epidemic, the newspaper learned.
The data are from the ORFK, and according to this, from the start of the pandemic until December 1, there were 3,579 confirmed positive infections among the police, of which 2001 were cured.
A civilian staff member died and a soldier was placed on a ventilator due to complications from the infection in the Hungarian Armed Forces, where as of December 3 880 actively infected people were registered. Six of the patients were hospitalized, 2,064 soldiers and civilian workers have already recovered from the disease, the press department of the Defense Ministry told the newspaper. Ten percent of the 30,000 herds have been infected so far.
One person died during the disaster and another was hospitalized for complications. The National Penitentiary Command (BVOP) reported in September that they had no cases of coronavirus. However, according to their information on December 4, there are already 537 people infected with Covid-19 in the approximately 8,000 employees. Here, a staff member died of the infection and another is cared for in an intensive care unit. Two of the prisoners died of coronavirus.
