As of Saturday, the Senior Protected Shopping Time Zone is no longer alive. RTL Híradó asked in Budapest and Debrecen what customers said about it. There was an old woman who set it safe for her shopping time zone, so she was unhappy with its completion. The majority, on the other hand, said that this would make it easier to buy Christmas gifts.
At the same time, Miklós Kásler, Minister of Human Resources, told InfoRádió that Christmas is not a shopping period, it is not an indispensable part of preparing for the holidays. RTL also asked shoppers about this opinion, who basically agreed, but said that everything can be bought in one place in the mall, so it is still an effective way to shop for Christmas.
The question of limiting the number of shoppers in stores according to a central instruction has also been raised, but this has not yet been reported by operational staff.
