For men, Robert Lewandowski was seen as the best. The Polish striker for Bayern Munich took a convincing lead over Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus) and Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona). The Bavarian scorer scored 52 points against CR 38 and Messi 35 points.
The award for best coach went home to Jürgen Klopp, who scored the same number of points as Hans-Dieter Flick, who tripled for Bayern. The Liverpool manager received the FIFA award because more head coaches voted for him first than Flickre. The name of Marcelo Bielsa was supplemented with 11 points.
The goalkeepers were awarded with Manuel Neuer; it is true that the excellent Bayern goalkeeper was not included in the men’s team of the year. Neuer closed with 28 points, Alisson Becker with twenty and Jan Oblak with 12.
Federal captain Marco Rossi and team captain Ádám Szalai (Mainz) voted for the Hungarian national team. According to Rossi, Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain) was the best, with Italian expert Lewandowski in second place and Cristiano Ronaldo in third. At Adam Szalai, the order was Lewandowski, Ronaldo, Neymar.
Mátyás Szeli, a national sports expert, voted as a representative of the Hungarian press. Our coworker thought Lewandowski was the best, followed by Ronaldo and Neymar.
Under the rules, players and coaches could not vote for themselves.
Lewandowski’s former teammate Thiago Alcántara was first ahead of PSG Neymar and Manchester City reinforcement Kevin De Bruyne.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lewandowski, Messi, Mbappé voted in order. Messi put two footballers in Paris (Neymar and Mbappé) ahead of Lewandowski.
Another interesting fact is that both Ronaldo and Messi saw Keylor Navast of Costa Rica as the best goalkeeper in PSG. Ronaldo was Real Madrid teammates for years at Real Madrid.
The goalkeepers were struck by the fact that Manuel Neuer’s votes were invalidated. FIFA did not say who the excellencies of Bayern Munich and the German team voted for.
