A home search was carried out on Sunday on the property of Diego Maradona’s doctor, writes Reuters.
So much has been known about the death of the Argentine world champion that his heart stopped at his home in Buenos Aires on Wednesday morning. His lawyer tweeted the next day that ambulances had only arrived at his apartment more than half an hour after the emergency call, so Matías Moria demanded an investigation into the circumstances of the death.
It is not known if this happened or not, but the matter was investigated in the second half of the week. On Saturday, the relatives of Maradona and his associates were questioned for the first time that the prosecution issued a statement on Sunday that the confessions had in their possession evidence that they considered a search of the house necessary, which the court also allowed.
Investigators searched the apartment and office of Leopoldo Luque, Maradona’s doctor. They didn’t tell me exactly why, or if they found what they were looking for.
