Péter Gulácsi finished second in the vote behind Sabitzer, and will be the captain of the substitute team in the third season of the Hungarian national team’s goalkeeping series.

Orbán, also from the Hungarian national team, was chosen for the first time by his teammates in the summer of 2017, but played little the previous season due to injury, so Sabitzer and even Gulácsi were able to wear the bracelet.

Orbán will remain on the field, along with Sabitzer, Gulácsi, Yussuf Poulsen, who was elected captain number 3, and Marcel Halstenberg and Dayot Upamecano, who will form Leipzig’s newly formed players’ committee, head coach Julian Nagelsmann announced.
