Budapest XI Begins to develop residential properties. Atenor district, known until now mainly for its office building developments. To this end, the company has acquired a plot of more than 82,000 square meters, where it plans to build a total of 1,326 homes in eight phases.

According to Atenor’s announcement, the first phase of the project called Lake City, worth 150-160 million euros, already has a valid building license, the others will be approved later.

According to the information, the first phase is expected to be delivered in the summer of 2022: three or four buildings, each with 30-40 apartments. Thereafter, the annual delivery and sale of 100-150 additional homes is expected.

The company told MTI that its income flows to the parent company Atenor SA in Belgium through project companies established separately for each development project. Atenor SA’s revenue in 2019 was 107 million euros. The aggregation of sales revenue of Hungarian project companies in 2020 will end in March. According to preliminary data, sales in Hungary lasted between 25 and 30 billion HUF, that is, between 71 and 86 million euros, last year.
