Operating tension: the epidemic curve shifts

[ad_1]

According to Wednesday morning’s report, the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in 3806 new Hungarian citizens, increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 185,687. Most of the 106 deaths were chronically elderly patients, bringing the number of deaths to 4,114. The number of actively infected people is 137,553. 22% of the actively infected, 25% of the dead and 26% of those recovered are from Budapest. 7,718 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 656 of whom are on ventilators. What matters is that

the number of new infections registered is lower than the average in recent days, that is, the epidemic curve has continued to decline.

However, it is important to note that The extreme daily volatility of the tests (or tests) does not help to understand the exact location of the epidemic. Yesterday, the data was about 10,000 tests performed, this morning about 20,000. Yesterday the positivity rate was 39% (!), Today it is 19%. These are fluctuations that do not allow us to interpret the numbers of daily cases followed.
