The last clash of the round on Saturday started at a good pace, and it was perhaps surprising that Kisvárda started more actively. Surprisingly, the Puskás Academy, which had previously fallen into a pit of deep gaze, has joined very recently: it has been able to win its last two champions without a goal. Also, when the only goal of the match was scored against Bp. Honvéd the previous day (1-0 at Hidegkuti Stadium), Felcsút celebrated adding three points as if they had won the Champions League. So the joy was immense, but in those moments, the Puskás Academy seemed to once again be a united team and one against one, so it was to be expected that the host would take control against the Eastern band.

If only because, like the Puskás Academy at the beginning of the season, the most dangerous rival of our time, the coronavirus epidemic, came to the team in Kisvárda these days. The professional squad could only follow the events on television, Attila Révész, sports director, led the team from the bench. Rather, in front of the small bench, because the manager of the club was constantly gesturing to give instructions to his players. Those who could have taken the lead immediately after the start through Jaroslav Navrátil were in the Czech legion during a quick counterattack, but young Felcsút goalkeeper Balázs Tóth knew how to block bravely.

On the other hand, we were able to register an instructive action: Zsolt Nagy was behind the defense, but Roland Szolnoki was inches from the ball in the middle; it might have been remarkable that the left defender had given a goal pass to the right defender. This meant that the home team’s full-backs were very active in catching up on attacks, and although the defense in Kisvárda seemed organized and disciplined for most of the match, the two running backs could no longer pay attention to the guests.

The rhythm was good, József Urblík, who was in front of the defensive line of the Puskás Academy, was in charge of bringing the ball, the filter was mostly looking for Josip Knezevice, since he is usually in charge of composing the uphill actions. The situation was in front of both gates, and even if there were mistakes, it was clear that those on the field would do their best to win. But considering that these two teams followed Ferencváros and Mol Fehérvár FC at the table before the round, we could rightly expect a good match from this pair. Kisvárda started the first half better, and even in the minutes before the break, the guests were closer to scoring, but in the end the first half of the game ended without a goal.

After the break, the host seemed more animated, the game developed more and more in the Kisvárda field, and after the great action of the U21 team Tamás Kiss -the young forward stepped on the ball while his rival slid towards the billboard- the Puskás Academy could easily have taken the lead. . The defenders were clearly outwitted by the defense, however, the defensive line-up was devastating, the corners arrived, the side free kicks, by then the Felcsút players were already in the lead.

The leader of the Hungarians, Zsolt Hornyák, tried twice to boost his team’s offensive game with a double substitution, the second pair was David Vanecek, who scored a winning goal against the people of Kispest – leveling off the bench. The members of both teams ran a lot, there was nothing wrong with the will, so of course the question was whether either side could score the winning goal in the hair of the match. In the last ten minutes, Kisvárda also appeared in front of Felcsút’s door, but it could be felt that the guests were satisfied with that point, and in the moments before the blow-off, the Puskás Academy was again more active. But as no goal was scored, the match ended in a draw. 0-0
