According to the plans of the Historical Archive of the State Security Services, next year anyone will be able to check online from anywhere to see if intelligence reports were made on him, his parents or grandparents before the regime change. The archive’s managing director told the RTL Klub newsletter about the plans.

As he said, the service is planned to launch in 2021, so that agents’ files can be retrieved through the customer portal, so that documents are accessible anywhere, not just in the archives investigation room. but anywhere from Debrecen to California.

The Director General also recalled that not only documents related to relatives and relatives can be requested from the archives, but also those related to public figures. For example, candidates running for election or any important public official can find out if among the approximately 200,000 people recruited by the socialist authorities before the regime change to write reports on the suspects.

2020 was an extraordinary year. The coronavirus epidemic and the deepening economic crisis that followed put us to the test, and the government has also used this dire crisis to further strengthen its already unprecedented power.

However, thanks to the readers, the 444 not only survived, it was able to grow stronger. Five new hires have arrived, five new blogs, regular podcasts have started, the second Macro has been completed, our new newsletters are prepared on a weekly and daily basis, and not by the way: our traffic has also increased.

In order for the newspaper to continue to operate and expand within a stable and predictable framework, we will launch a new system in 2021. There will be exclusive articles, newsletters and many other benefits.
