The operational court of economic protection adopted six points, announced the Minister of Finance, Mihály Varga, on his Facebook page. The measures were taken in cooperation with the Hungarian Banking Association.

It has been accepted that where an electronic cash register operates, electronic payment will also be possible. This means around 50-60 thousand points of acceptance and significantly reduces the use of cash by tens of billions of guilders a year. This measure is completely at odds with what the Hungarian nation wrote today, which would require retailers to postpone mandatory electronic payments as of January 1, citing the epidemic.

Electronic banking will be expanded, finances will be simpler and the number of personal banking can be reduced by up to 2 million per year. It will also be possible to submit documents electronically to land offices, thus simplifying the process by 130,000 cases per year. This will include matters related to the acquisition and indebtedness of real estate. Free real estate valuation will be widely available, in a third of the cases banks could do it on the basis of a database, which could save clients between 30 and 50 thousand HUF.

Real estate notarial work is also being accelerated and simplified, saving tens of thousands of florins for 60,000 clients a year. The introduction of digital document management is necessary because of the client with 6.5 million bank accounts, Varga said.
