DVTK – PAKS 1-2

TAMÁS FECZKÓ, DVTK Head Coach

– You are obviously not happy after a game like this.
“Of course I am not how I could be, since we are left without a point.” Unfortunately we were unable to control in the first half and our opponent held the ball deftly. After the break we started well, we drew quickly, but after that our offensive game did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, we are in a bad step right now.

– What didn’t go as planned?
“We had trouble taking advantage of the situations again.” After the break, it turned out that the idea worked, but we couldn’t put the dot on i. We made quite a few mistakes on the right and got revenge. Also, we lost our attention at the last minute, so we didn’t dial.

– Was there a turning point in the match?
– We dominated more after the break, especially after the draw, we gained momentum and then the match could have been won. Unfortunately, focus was lacking in our game.

György BOGNÁR, Paksi FC coach

– You are obviously happy with the result!
– Of course we are very happy to have managed to score three points in Diósgyőr. It was a great task, but my players grew up with it. It is especially comforting that they had a good attitude towards the game and I felt the right fighting spirit in them all the time.

– Is your team indebted to something?
– This time the quality of the game did not live up to expectations. We are capable of more and we can demonstrate it in the jump. I was waiting longer to get the ball, but the old nerves were still felt and it is also important that our attack could have been more effective.

– Psychologically, both goals were scored in the best possible moments.
– It’s true, because in the last moments of the first half and before the end of the second half, we hit the goal of our opponent. Of course, this cannot be planned, but it was a good feeling to see that we were able to constantly pressure Diósgyőr after the break.

MEZŐKÖVESD ZSÓRY – KISVÁRDA 1–2

ATTILA KUTTOR, Head Coach of Mezőkövesd

– The last minute or two was exciting. Did you think they would recover?
– I trust him. The first half, to put it mildly, didn’t go as planned either. We tried a different system, so to speak, we were looking for our way. It turned out that we couldn’t find it. But the second half was ours, unfortunately the beautification goal came late, there was no time to equalize.

“It’s not uncommon for a coach to change goalkeepers so soon.” Did you feel that Danilo Rjabenko was so insecure at the door?
– So is. The team also caught the first goal, which made it even better. He had to change.

What was said at halftime in the dressing room, since after the shift, his band got up from the floor and the beautification came together.
– I tried to pour souls into the boys. Whatever difficult situation we found ourselves in, we had to lift our heads. We won the second half, we didn’t get points for it, but at least we can take advantage of it. There is a control in the team, that is important.

ATTILA SUPKA, Kisvárda head coach

“Do you mind that there was no rash at the end of the meeting?”
– We are happy with the three points, of course we talk with the players about the need to take advantage of such opportunities. If we were more precise and more focused, we could have closed the game earlier and won by more goals.

“Can we put it this way that they made it difficult for them to finish the meeting?”
– Yes. At first, we realized what we had planned. We were specially prepared for the wings of the premises, we also created situations from them, but the second half started in a hurry. But in general, our victory was not in jeopardy, that’s the point.

– They won their third straight away game. Would it always be better to play in the field of another team?
– It’s great that we have won three away games, but of course we want to play football just as effectively in a home environment. We didn’t make it against Academia Puskás, we hope to be more successful at home next time.

MTK – BUDAFOK 1-2

Michael BORIS, MTK Head Coach

– What happens?
– We’re not flying, that’s for sure. But it is also true that it was a completely different match from the previous two. In the third minute, a decisive turn came immediately with Budafok taking the lead. This had a decisive effect on the image of the match, as we had to attack immediately, push our positions higher while the opponent could defend in an organized manner. We didn’t have a lot of position in the previous two games, but now we’ve done two zigzers before the break, but we couldn’t even match.

– What ideas did you use to send the team in the second half?
“We wanted to attack even more, we wanted to have even more ball, so we exchanged and had situations. After the draw, we did our best to win the match, but the opponent caught just one bad pass and we lost the match due to a successful counterattack.

“They have been fighting for the tie for more than an hour, they have succeeded and have even achieved a human advantage,” would you think they would lose the match then?
– Not! It was clear that we were going to look for the winning goal, but then it seemed that we would either get it or stay in the draw. Of course we are disappointed, the players have worked very hard, they have done their best now and I don’t want to refer to the many that are missing. We will try to keep improving.

Csaba CSIZMADIA, Budafok Head Coach

– Historic club success: Budafok’s first away win in decades.
– We are very happy for him! We played well in the first half, we kept the ball, we could have increased our advantage. It’s true that MTK put a lot of pressure on us in the second half.

– What changed in the second half?
“During the break, I praised the guys for keeping the ball well, they dared to play, I asked them to continue this, but it didn’t work much anymore, we kicked the ball too many times and we got more and more trapped in front of our goal. But let’s not forget that MTK was able to deliver quality attackers from the bank.

– When MTK drew and shortly after joined the tally, do you remember the win?
“Why deny it: then I would have signed the tie!” I was confident that we would not come out of a game where we played well, but of course it is gratifying that the guys are trying to win even in that position and we are happy we did. The sequel? We don’t have a funereal atmosphere in training if we go out, so after the victory, the atmosphere will definitely be good in everyday life, but we shouldn’t celebrate for long – we got three points, but we have to work harder.
