There is also a danger of coronavirus in Megyeri út! The whites-purples announced in a match day statement that Friday’s COVID testing revealed that some players and staff were also involved in the infection, but that Sunday night’s league against White Castle was not in jeopardy. As in IV. The district club statement read: “… we have taken the appropriate measures, we will continue the championship, so of course we will face Mol Fehérvár FC.”

Several of the visiting fans guessed who might have contracted the virus, Simon Krisztián was left out of the team, but stayed away due to his muscle injury against Honvéd, bypassing the starting team on Sunday night. By comparison, it had been one minute and twenty-three seconds since the match, when Fehérvár’s Budu Zivzivadze had almost scored. The home team made a deep cut, attempted another shot at Stopira a minute later, but after the initial attacks, the game gradually leveled off. The players stood up well in the middle, and as guest head coach Predrag Rogan continues to force the five-defense system, it was difficult for the Loic Negos to fight their way through the condensed purples. The two full-backs, especially Branko Pauljevics, almost always appeared in the attack, but as soon as the ball reached the town of Fehérvár, all Újpest footballers ran to their half of the field. The Hungarians created the biggest situation in the moments before the break, how Funsho Bamgboye kicked the ball next to the empty goal, a big question, apparently the head coach, Gábor Márton also did not understand …

After the turn, we also discovered that the people of Újpest do not learn from their own mistakes. Two quick corner kicks followed each other, the first was released after Stopira’s head jumped to the top, half a minute later the White Castle was able to jump with the same smoothness, after the second attempt the ball was already in the goal (1–0). The two situations were eerily similar, but the guests didn’t react to their mistake at first.

The goal released Fehérvár’s players, and if they got into position, they kicked it. Three minutes later another goal came, five minutes later the third, another three minutes later the fourth. As they say, when a deal begins … The guests disintegrate from the first goal they received, as if they thought that if zero zero was collected, the good result, but if they get one they will hardly get up from there. So it was.

Fehérvár played football forcefully in the last half hour, did not stop until five strokes, that is, he achieved a very confident victory and was at the top of the table. 5–1
