As a career choice, Honvéd defeated DVTK 5-1 in round 15 of NB I football. For the first time since October 4, the people of Kispest were able to win at the forefront. Dániel Gazdag repeated his early autumn production at Miskolc, scoring two goals and a goal pass to Diósgyőr.

There can be no doubt, the previous role of István Pisont is a success story in Honvéd as he took the lead in sixth place before the end and finished fifth with the band and won the Hungarian Cup. Perhaps fewer people remember that club legend Kispest had previously replaced manager Giuseppe Sannino in two championships and one cup match, the first of which was the championship against VTK in Diósgyőr on February 29, at the Nándor Stadium in Hidegkuti. . The match certainly remained a bad memory for the specialist, as his team lost 4-0. Another problem is that at that time Diósgyőr was perhaps the team with the best form on the field. Since then, a lot has happened in both clubs …
It was good to see that the footballers of the teams tried to attack with many runs, but at the same time we were faced with the need to make a decision under pressure, mistakes are sure to come. The guest coach, Gergely Geri, tried to advise his players from the start of the whistle, but in the middle of the game he had to face the fact that after Kispest’s first good pass, Dániel Gazdag went ahead. The game did not last half an hour, when after spectacular coercion, Donát Zsótér doubled the advantage, predicting that DVTK would also have to offer a special for the save. The communication from the Diósgyőr players did not indicate that the harmony between them was perfect, and it would not have been a surprise if Honvéd took a break with a three-goal lead.
Gergely Geri traded two for the sequel, which improved Diósgyőr’s football. Mirko Ivanovszki had a chance to take the lead with a dazzling shot from the left by Gheorghe Grozav, but the opportunity was fizzled when his shot went over the bar in the 50th minute. In this case, no omissions can fit the defense. It’s not like being left behind by a man in a corner. Norbert Szendrei’s head restored the gap at halftime, then when Dániel Gazdag scored a second time, it was possible to guess that István Pisont would defeat Diósgyőr with his team this time. Furthermore, he did it deservedly, his opponent could only question the outcome of the duel at the beginning of the second half.
