The Metropolitan Court sentenced a 38-year-old man who wanted to rape a runner in Jászberényi út in October 2018 to three years and six months in prison Makai Victoria. H. István he was also banned from public affairs for four years.
The man made two attempts to rape the runner during the attack, but he did not have an erection, so he finally failed, tried to penetrate with his fingers and forced the woman to perform oral sex. The mental runner was lucky that it was at this point that her husband got there, ending the attack.
The mother of two recalled after the attack that she had seen the man several times at a nearby store. And after a detailed description of the person, the investigators immediately went to the store mentioned by the broker. They learned from the store manager that the man had recently gone to a party at work where he was drinking alcohol.
István H.’s wife was sending a text message to her husband’s boss when he was talking to the police. She asked what happened at the corporate party because she went home bloody. István H. made a detailed confession during his interrogation. He defended himself by not drinking alcohol for twenty years and did not know when the crime was committed. The man had already pleaded guilty at the preparatory hearing, but the judge did not accept it due to his reduced state of consciousness and put the case on trial. István H. said he drank beer, wine, singularity and brandy on the ominous night. He claims he felt bad after the corporate party, was on his way home when he saw the runner and took immediate action.

The Metropolitan Court commuted the sentence, but aggravated the degree of imprisonment.
