It has a new owner in Media Market, a bi-monthly newspaper. Boros Bánk Levente, was bought by the director of the Media Viewing Center – writes Magyar Nemzet.
In an interview with the newspaper, Bánk Boros affirms that he wants a professional and independent magazine, and then immediately goes on to say that
Until now, the Baliberal narrative has prevailed on this issue, whether we look at the domestic context or the international perception of the Hungarian media market.
Boros Bánk then said that
if the issue of the Hungarian media was debated in Brussels in recent years, only the Baliberal segment of the profession was present, with its own position.

According to Boros Bánk’s plans, the newspaper should become the main source of information, and some market media but politically relevant issues may appear in them for the first time. For this they will have the “knowledge base and professional knowledge accumulated by the Media Viewer Center, of which Boros Bánk is director, and the Point of View Institute, of which the main analyst is the main analyst.”
But he also said that there would be ongoing issues on the table, such as what was happening around the Index, in relation to which “things would be presented objectively and in context.”
