“First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their many messages of support. – started the interview published on dac1904.sk Zsolt Kalmar. They gave me a lot of strength to think that there would be nothing more wrong with my knee. Immediately after my replacement, I went to the locker room, where I covered my knees with ice and also checked the ribbons to see if they were broken. Then they put a bandage on me and yesterday I underwent an MRI scan ”.

The midfielder still couldn’t tell him how much to miss, but it turned out he hadn’t suffered a serious injury.

“I really couldn’t sleep that night because it was in my head not to have a serious injury. I thought I would find out in the next day’s exam how much I had to lose. Fortunately, I feel like I’m not in big trouble, I’m not in great pain. However, I can only provide details tomorrow, when I go to a knee specialist. According to yesterday’s MRI, there is no tear in my knee ligament, my cruciate ligament is in place. It turns out that tomorrow I can go back to the field, but I feel stable on my knees. Without a doubt, you will need a lot of treatment to return as soon as possible. I even have to discuss how to proceed with the club, as there are professionals in Győr who can help me. I will probably also receive treatments in Dunaszerdahely and Győr, this will expose most of my day, as I want to start playing in the championship as soon as possible, even at the end of May ”.

Kalmár said that since his injury, DAC head coach Bernd Storck and federal captain Marco Rossi have also been interested in his condition, and both are pushing for their player to return to the field as soon as possible.

The other DAC national team, András Schäfer, suffered a minor injury in the national team training ground, he has to miss a few weeks.
