After Andrea Bocskor, Fidesz member of the European Parliament, László Brenzovics, president of the Hungarian Cultural Association of Transcarpathia (KMKSZ), was also added to the list of “Enemies of Ukraine” Mirotvorec (Pacifier) to the website of a Ukrainian nationalist organization. In the case of personal data, the name, date of birth and place of László Brenzovics were indicated, in the latter Ukraine, Transcarpathia county, including the district of Beregszász.

The editors of the website accuse, among other things, of disseminating directly manipulated information in society in order to incite hatred between nationalities, and of participating in disinformation operations “aggressors” against Ukraine and Hungary against Ukraine.

On Saturday, it turned out that Fidesz MEP Andrea Bocskor was also on the Mirotvorec site. He has been charged with violating Ukrainian law by acquiring dual Hungarian-Ukrainian citizenship and with attempting to disrupt Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and exceeding official powers.

Mirotvorec initially published data only on those who played a direct role in the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014 and who were militants in the conflict in the Donetsk Basin against the Ukrainian army or cooperated with the separatist armed forces. Subsequently, the data of those who, according to the organization, committed an act “a crime or a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine” began to be published on the site.

In 2018, the organization also started uploading the names and addresses of Transcarpathian Hungarians with dual Hungarian-Ukrainian citizenship into its public database. In early October, more than 300 Hungarian names from Transcarpathia were added to the list, and a few days later several senior Hungarian officials resigned in the Beregszász district.

The name of Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, has also been added to its database. It was alleged that he had “attacked the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”, interfered in the internal affairs of the country, incited and supported divided efforts in Ukraine. (MTI)
