Legendary CNN anchor and editor Larry King dies at the age of 87 Announced on the Twitter page of the broadcasting company Ora Media King, in the morning hours of local time.

King was murdered at Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was treated for nearly a month after he was diagnosed with a coronavirus infection in late December and taken to hospital for worsening symptoms.

King, born in 1933 in Brooklyn to a Jewish family of Austrian descent, was one of the best-known American television personalities and journalists of all time. Throughout his career, he has received numerous professional accolades, including Emmy Awards and a total of 10 Cable ACE Awards. His original name was Lawrence Harvey Zeiger volt, which then changed to King in the 1970s, when he was already working for Miami Beach Radio.

At a young age, he moved from New York to Miami, where he first lived as a DJ and then began working in radio. He worked for several smaller local studios and radio stations.

It gained national recognition after 1978, when it received a contract from the Mutual Broadcasting System and launched Larry King Show Dial-up radio program.

After great success, he saddled up on television: a Larry King Live It ran on CNN for a total of 25 years, from 1985 to 2010. It was one of the most successful political talk shows in US media history.

After 2012, he founded his own production company, Larry King now and appeared on Hulu and RT America. He also did his last show for these two channels: it was Politicking Larry King weekly political talk show.
