Zsolt Gréczy has nominated a former member of parliament to the supervisory board of the newly established Ferencváros media company DK and MSZP, Mayor Krisztina Baranyi wrote in her Facebook post on Wednesday.
Gréczy resigned as a member of parliament in December after pornographic images of him were made public. The person who circulated the photos in the press claimed that the politician had sent him those photos after meeting, which he clearly experienced as harassment. Gréczy called this a lie and has since won lawsuits against various government outlets accused of harassment.
Baranyi wrote that he was unwilling to dispute Gréczy’s truth and the justification for his political rehabilitation.
“I do not consider it fortunate and I cannot support Zsolt Gréczy, who has not participated in any way in the public life of Ferencváros until now, to return here.”“Ferencváros is constantly at the crossroads of Fidesz and the far-right media, and is under constant attack due to the overwhelming municipal victory here, to create a greener and corruption-free Ferencváros.
