Although the chances are small, it cannot be ruled out that there are two bears in Miskolc, as the animal was thought to have been detected in various places in the city, he told boon.hu Péter Gombkötő, zoology specialist from the Bükk National Park Directorate, who visited the site and watched together with the Miskolc Municipal Police staff on Monday evening.

He said the presence of a bear in Hole Valley was confirmed last Wednesday from a public announcement, at which point we discovered the tracks of a specimen in the mud. Then, on Friday, the bear was expelled from the bear by the four-lane road, which, after the alarm, made a few minutes of playful movement and turned again on the next street, passing through Torontáli street towards Őzugró in the direction of los closed gardens.

There is no trace, but its presence is presumed. Additional public announcements were received on Monday, which we reviewed. Among these, there were some related to Lyukóvölgy, others on the border of Kisgyőr and Harsány, who are believed to have seen the bear on the way. Colleagues reviewed both, the little one has not yet been certified. We divided the area with the Municipal Police of Miskolc, we tried to find the tracks of the animal in several groups.

– Péter Gombkötő explained, adding that in the first round they wondered if he was leaving through the border of Sajóbábony, but there is no track there, so he is supposed to be in the closed gardens.

Now it would be the task to locate the bear, or bears, but in the meantime, it is important that people follow the rules of conduct in their own interest and, as tempting as it is, not to chase the animal.

The expert does not see a close correlation between the appearance of the bear and the flood, although significant rainfall can cause the animals to move differently.

He revealed that the bear is not supposed to stay for long, with the beginning of the frosty period, the change in the life cycle prompts it to return to its habitat, Slovakia.
