The prime minister ordered the provision of a free Internet access service for students and teachers transitioning to digital education.

The fixed internet access service is available free of charge for thirty days given the legal relationship with a secondary school that operates in digital work outside the classroom in public education and vocational training, full-time education and professional training.

At the moment, the landline service will be free for 30 days due to digital work hours outside the classroom.

The student with subscription or his legal representative with subscription (or whose subscription is used), or the professors, instructors with subscription or the person whose subscription they use, is entitled to it.

You can use the service for free only in one of the right holder’s places of residence, stay or accommodation.

The free service is available to the rights holder in accordance with the terms and conditions in force the day before the Regulation comes into force or in the event of a new subscription contract. The right holder must notify the service provider of his request for the free service, preferably by electronic means.

In Hungarian, this means that those who participate in digital education and therefore use the Internet can use the Internet for free during this period. There will be a discussion about this with the companies, but now it is important that the families receive this help.

Said Orbán, who also announced the decree on Facebook. The Prime Minister asked young people not to see digital education as a party, but as learning.
