Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced on his Facebook page that Miklós Gór-Nagy, a former world water polo champion, would soon be appointed foreign economic attache at the Hungarian Consulate General in New York.

Miklós Gór-Nagy became the world champion with the Hungarian national team in 2013, and four years later he won a silver medal in the World Cup, two silver and one bronze in the European Championship. He played two hundred games for the national team, retiring last summer.
