Great task awaits you, young people. The coronavirus epidemic is here among us and the number of infected people is unfavorable. Friendships, time spent in the community and most forms of confrontation can be potentially dangerous, writes Miklós Kásler, Minister of Human Resources, in his Facebook post.

In his post on the responsibility of young people, the director of EMMI expresses the danger that threatens the older generations. As he himself says, “your shoulders now have the responsibility of defining the lives of your friends, parents and grandparents.”

That is why I ask you to follow epidemiological recommendations, because your decisions could save lives. Lead by example and join the ranks of everyday heroes! He adds.

Kásler also recalls that “Hungarian youth have earned respect and recognition countless times throughout history.”

“I wish that when we look back on this period after the epidemic is over, the well-being of his generation will be surrounded by similar recognition,” adds the minister.

Kassler also points out that he is aware of the sacrifices involved, the greatest resignation for young people is the current situation.

However, you should know that Hungary was able to avoid infecting thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of Hungarians, thanks to this responsible period. And we cannot sacrifice the successful work of many months, as it would have measurable consequences in human lives, he adds.
