By Tuesday, the new coronavirus infection (Covid-19) had been detected in 989 new Hungarian citizens, increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 48,757. The active infected were 30, the dead 40 and the recovered 30 percent from Budapest. The hospital cares for 1,960 coronavirus patients, 197 of whom are hooked up to a ventilator.

The second wave of the epidemic is occurring in Hungary. The government aims to keep the country operational and not let the virus paralyze everyday life. However, this requires compliance with general precautions.

The virus is spreading dynamically across Europe, so border controls and entry restrictions are still in place, and the prime minister asked Hungarian families not to plan to ski abroad now. Cecília Müller, national medical director, said in a statement Sunday that we should not get tired of dealing with the coronavirus epidemic, because there is at least as much ahead of us as behind us, read at koronavirus.gov.hu.

Attention is drawn to the fact that the use of the mask is mandatory not only in shops and public transport, but also in cinemas, theaters, shopping centers, health and social care institutions and customer reception offices. Also, after 23:00, restaurants and entertainment venues must be closed. To stop the spread of the community continues

  • Avoid places where there are many people inside,
  • if possible, keep social distance,
  • wash your hands frequently and thoroughly,
  • who has been ordered to submit to an official national quarantine for a stay abroad or for any other reason,
  • Anyone with symptoms should not go into the community but stay home and notify their GP by phone.

The protection of elderly and chronic patients is of the utmost importance. Older people are also asked to pay more attention to themselves and the general precautions they take. Visiting hospitals and nursing homes is prohibited. And nursing home administrators must do everything possible to prevent infection. If a focal point takes place in a social institution or anywhere else in the community, the epidemiological deployment unit will take the necessary actions. In addition to maintaining health protection, the government is also working on additional economic and family protection measures, they write.

Body temperature measurement is mandatory in schools and kindergartens to filter feverish children and educators and thus protect the smooth running of kindergartens and schools. The operational court currently ordered emergency breaks in 46 kindergartens and 21 schools, and digital work schedules for 153 classes and 17 entire schools for coronavirus diseases.
