A version of the coronavirus called E484K, which weakens the vaccine’s protection, has started to spread in Japan, reports daily.hu, according to Reuters. The “Eek” variant was detected in 10 of 14 people who tested positive in March at the University of Tokyo School of Medicine and Dentistry.
